Bespoke timber windows installed to Grade 2 listed building

TIMBER WINDOWS

GT Glazing's latest project was a unique opportunity to work locally on a Grade 2 listed building in Button Oak. The project was to replace a long kitchen timber window that was now rotten and letting in the elements from outside.

Firstly The GT Glazing team had to visit the property to measure the bespoke window opening. These windows were very old and measured at an unusual size, that you don't see often today. Understandably the customer wanted to keep the traditional look and materials of the original windows so the team also had to colour match and measure the thickness of the frames.

GT Glazing worked closely with the customer so the work didn't disturb the family routine. After under 2 days of work the custom size traditional timber window was complete. The customer couldn't be happier with the outcome. They said, "The Kitchen is instantly warmer. What an amazing different, Thank you GT Glazing."
